Bréjai Washington is a native from Kansas City, KS the oldest of her mother’s children. Bréjai attended Lincoln University of Missouri from 2015-2019 with intentions to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, however, decided helping people in need would be better met by her work within the community. Bréjai obtained her Bachelor of Political Science and went on to work within the community of the those disabled physically and cognitively. She then went on to apply to obtain her Master of Social Work through Johnson C. Smith University, recently graduating in the spring of 2022.
Bréjai always saw a need to help youth in need, stemming from the lack of funding and awareness within the education system in her home city. This fuels Bréjai’s creativity in creating programs that are geared towards serving the youth in minority communities and will allow her to implement her own non-profit organization for said members of the community.
